About the project

Not a theory of everything. A collection of questions.

This site grew out of conversations about how narrowly humans perceive reality, what might happen to mind after biology, and why a highly advanced civilization might need enormous computing power.

How the texts work

I try to write in ordinary language. When an idea rests on established physics, I say so. When it becomes an assumption, fiction, or philosophical model, I say that too. The point is not to “prove” simulation, but to understand what follows if a scenario is allowed.

Topics

Perception and the limits of the senses. Machine minds. Simulations and nested worlds. Worlds with other laws. The evolution of universes. Black holes as extreme informational objects. And one central question: if a mind someday has almost everything, what could it still want?

An appealing hypothesis does not become fact merely because it explains the world elegantly.
